Hi Vasilisa, Sadly, we were not allowed to climb up the pyramid anymore cos someone drew graffiti and scratched the stones at the top and the authorities had a hard time rectifying the problem.
As for food, the next time I go to Mexico (maybe Puerto Vallarta) I will choose an all-inclusive hotel. Woo hoo!

Hi Leo, Thanks for visiting! Vegetarian cooking? Erm... I am a meat person and I like to eat vegetarian char siew with bee hoon but no idea how vegetarian dishes are made. Sorry...

I went to Chichen Itza a few years ago (also Cancun + Mexican Food + Pyramids). It was so fascinating! However what I remember most was climbing the pyramid and then being terrified on the way down. (I was actually carefully sliding down each step in a sitting position... Very mature...)

PS: I think we were luckier with food though... Our hotel had a pretty large buffet with lots of selection that even included sushi! Soooo Mexican :-)

I was hiding in the shade with an SPF 50 sun block. I was in charge of applying the oil on the roast.
