Hi Delia, Thanks for giving feedback on the recipe. I appreciate it! It has been a while since I made this. You just reminded me to cook it again. Yippee!

Hi,
just came across ur site last week. did tried out the Mr Leek & Mrs Tofu (both of which are my favourites) and it came out very nice. It's nice to have a change from the usual leek cook with prawns recipe.

Mr Leek and Mrs Tofu is what my mummy used to cook. She stopped cooking tofu dishes because dad had gout and should not be eating tofu dishes.

I miss it. I posted something about Tofu today and linked it to your tofu dishes :-)

It's a super Canon 20D with a macro lens and me holding the camera in a weird angle that supersized the scallion.

No. Of course it was a leek! And of course I was kidding about the parsley. :)

Oh....do you really do that...about snapping?
Is this leek or a scallion on steroids? Or are they the same thing?
You are 2 mths early for CNY...you should eat leek during CNY so that got lotsa $$$ to "suan" (leek, in mandarin or some dialect)
HAHA!

Yeah, you can also snap off one parsley leaf from the 2000 to use it as soup garnish.

Oops... shhh.... we are supposed to do this sneakily.

Never thought about the debanding technique before. Yep, it's really annoying when you only want one of something and the store bundles it in a set of 2000 or something like that.
